Arlakadabra

TTV developed and pitched a concept for Arla designed to help them get more out of their milk cartons… specifically, the back panel where they often had craft projects.

The idea was to shoot short, funny, inspirational clips filled with arts, crafts, tips, tricks, and simple recipes. New episodes were released at regular intervals for several years and made Arlakadabra a lively and exciting site.

The films were pure brand building and no products were promoted in the episodes. The goal was to create a positive image of Arla in the minds of future consumers.

The content was based on popular Google searches, and since the films don’t feel like commercials some have even been used in schools to spark interest in arts and crafts.

When the films were launched, annual unique visits to Arlakadabra went from roughly 12 000 and year to over 300 000 a year.

Arla swedish butter

One of the most common Google searches related to cooking is “save béarnaise sauce.” To rank at the top for this search, Arla Svenskt Smör (Swedish Butter) wanted to produce short, inspiring, and educational films showing how to rescue a split béarnaise sauce. In collaboration with the star chef Andreas Hedlund, we produced several different films about butter.

The result was a main film in which Andreas prepares a béarnaise sauce from scratch, as well as shorter films about browned butter, how to rescue a béarnaise sauce, clarified butter, and more.

The film about how to rescue a béarnaise sauce has over 200,000 views on YouTube.
